Sunday services

While we normally meet for worship in the church hall, at 10.30 am on Sundays, we are moving to a Zoom service instead during January 2021/Tier 4. If you would like to join us, please contact the office for information via email:

Below is the pattern of worship previously held.

1st Week of the month: Food for Thought Service at 10 am

On the first Sunday of each month, we meet for refreshments, followed by an informal time of discussion, worship and bible reading. Food for Thought starts at 10 am in the Church Hall. The next one will be on 2nd February 2020.

2nd - 4th Weeks of the month: Holy Communion or Morning Prayer Services at 10.30 am

We meet on these Sunday mornings in the Church Hall, and the service begins at 10.30 am. We meet to worship God together, to hear and reflect on a passage from the Bible and to share bread and wine at our communion services. We follow the liturgy of the Church of England. The service finishes at about 12:00, after which there is coffee, tea and are welcome to come and join us. I hear you ask, “Can I bring my children?” and the answer is, “Yes, you can.” All ages are welcome.

Wednesday service: a short Holy Communion or Morning Prayer at 9.30 am

Each Wednesday, a service begins at 9.30 am, in the Lady Chapel. It is a quiet service (no hymns). We finish for 10 am. We read the bible, and exchange our thoughts and experiences on the reading, and we share bread and wine together at communion services.
