Weddings at St Mary's are held in the Main Church, a Grade II listed building with a long history as a Church of England church. There is a long aisle leading up the Nave to the Chancel where there is an altar with its formal communion rail and small stained glass window. The church organ is in use and fills the church beautifully with sound. The church has seats for over 300 people.

The Lady Chapel is a side chapel to the main church which can also be used as an additional room. It is a quiet and peaceful space good for prayers and reflection.

The Church Hall, which is used weekly for other events, as well as for Sunday Services, can be booked for a wedding reception.

The basic fee for a wedding at St Mary's is £695 with a deposit of £100 due when reserving the date of the wedding.

You can get married at St. Mary's if you have a connection to the parish/church, or if you have arranged special permission from the parish that you live in. Do ring the church office to discuss this, if your are unfamiliar with parish boundaries. If one or both of you has been divorced, we would love to have a chat with you to help ensure that your marriage to one another will be on the firmest of foundations.

If you live in the parish of Pype Hayes but wish to be married in a different parish, your banns need to be read in Pype Hayes as well as in the parish you are getting married in. This needs to be done at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding date as it takes three consecutive Sundays to complete. Contact the Church Office for a Banns Application Form. The cost for your banns to be read is £43.
